Statutes and objectives

ID's was created in 1997. Its objective is to contribute to the involvement of all social actors in the European building process. ID's wants to facilitate the dialogue between public institutions, and especially EU institutions, and the citizens, and to promote participation in preparing, implementing and controlling general interests policy.
The not-for-profit sector is a major actor in this dialogue. Therefore, ID's helps NGOs, associations and enterprises of the social economy, local or international, to widen their perspectives and add an EU aspect to their work by providing advice, training and information services.
