Development of European partnerships

The basic working principles of ID’s are partnership and complementarity of competencies. It co-operates with organisations, persons or companies in order to reach the best possible quality and to develop common information and training material on Europe for the not-for-profit sector.

In 2000, ID's initiated the Network on European information and training for not-for-profit organisations, which brings together providers of European information, training and advisory services for the not-for-profit sector to pool resources, exchange and improve know-how and develop partnership projects.

During the first Forum of the Network, in November 2001, the 70 representatives of more than 50 organisations, coming from 12 countries and gathered in Brussels, decided together to develop further the Network.
