Network on European information and training for not-for-profit organisations

The Network on European information and training for not-for-profit organisations brings together providers of European information, training and advisory services for the not-for-profit sector to pool resources, exchange and improve know-how and develop partnership projects.

Cross-border contacts among providers of European information, training and advisory services for the not-for-profit sector are still rare, but offer great opportunities to exchange and improve know-how and to develop partnership projects.

Therefore, organisations from 5 countries have established an EU-wide network, which is initiated and co-ordinated by ID’s, with financial support by the European Commission (Directorate General Education and Culture).

During the first Forum of the Network, in November 2001, the 70 representatives of more than 50 organisations, coming from 12 countries and gathered in Brussels, decided together to develop further the Network.
